I am always doing and I don't know if I understand those that just want to consume and not produce. I admire the people who work hard to give back to the world. I wish I could be a doctor, or a scientist, or some sort of brilliant economist but I was not given those talents so I design because that's what I am good at. Hopefully I'll be able to give back to the world through that somehow, if not through the clothing itself then through philanthropic ventures. I don't believe in this American hierarchy of people. A brick layer and a brain surgeon are just as important to society as the other. We need both in order to function in a civilized society, one just takes a lot less training than the other.

I never exactly expected my life to lead me to Dallas, but stranger things have happened. I was raised in Austin and have been told it shows more than once... essentially I grew up in what little punk scene there is in Austin and my interest in music flourished from there. Music is one of my great loves, I can't really classify myself as a "music nerd" anymore - most of my time is taken up by science. I have a BS in Biochemistry and Genetics and I'm currently working on a PhD in Biochemistry, so school pretty much rules majority of my time. Hi! I was born in 1963 in southern Illinois. I lived on a farm and love horses and dogs. I curently have one dog and two sugargliders. My parents got a divorce when I was about 3 and we then moved to the city. I was around 6 when we moved to Colorado and lived two years looking out my front door at the rockies. It was hard on my mom so we then moved to California and that didnt last to long before we moved to Texas and I now reside there. I have one son that is 23 he was born on nov 22. Programming is great and all, but my real passion is music. I started playing piano about two years ago and I can't get enough. I like to do anything that involves the outdoors...anything that involves jet skiing, white water rafting, sky diving, camping I'm always down for. I play college soccer and am very into fitness.

I'm a creative person who enjoys trains, birds, and avant-garde art. I don't watch TV but enjoy independent movies. I'm quite cynical and rather suspicious of shopping carts.

My biggest passion is the environment. I prefer to walk or take public transportation. In fact, I don't even have a car. I'm not very girly but I think pink is a great color.

Self Summaries are always difficult. How do you sell yourself? I am not as seen on tv. You can't clip a coupon and get me. I don't have my own PR firm up my butt. :) I am just me. I am a Sr Sales Floor Supervisor for a call center in Mesquite. I have been here for 7 yrs now.
